Gramaudyogik Shikshan Mandal (GSM), Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India is the parent trust (Organization) established in 1975 under Bombay Public Trust Act and also registered under Society Registration Act. Over last three and half decades, GSM has established 19 institutes and 5 centres of learning at multiple locations in India. GSM has grown organically in three important provinces of India, viz. Maharashtra (Western India), Delhi (National Capital) & Uttar Pradesh (Northern India).

MIT is a group of Polytechnic, Engineering, Technology and Architecture institutions with developing innovative technologies and a group of thinking, practicing and creative technocrats equipped to solve the world's critical and complex problems. It has the presence in various states of India: Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi. Every process of MIT has been standardized which lead MIT to being ISO 9001: 2000 Institute. One of the technical courses of Engineering base level plays an important role to build up MIT's base i.e. MIT Polytechnic.
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has accorded approval to the Marathwada Institute of Technology, Aurangabad to conduct the full time diploma courses so that MIT Polytechnic has been established in 1983. MIT Polytechnic is proud of more than Two thousand MITians (Alumni) who are serving the world through either service or Institutions.
