Team Alpha of ‘Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning’ department under the guidance of Prof. S. A. Shendre had participated successfully despite being the youngest participants and only team from Polytechnic ‘Team Alpha’ secured Second Place and got Runner Up Prize at national level Smart India HACKATHON-2024. This SIH-2024 is organized by central government to provide a platform for the budding technocrats to showcase their innovative ideas and creativity with an intention to come out solutions for the societal issues. MIT Polytechnic team had participated in this national level event with a ‘Nagish App for Ministry of Social Justice &Empowerment’, Govt. of India. The SIH-2024 had organized at ‘Shobhit University Meerut (UP)’. The team comprises of Sampada Deshmukh (Team Leader), Geeta Chavan, Shaikh Bushra, Renuka Kathar, Jayesh Kathale & Samyak Tupe under the guidance of mentor Prof. Shivam Shendre has fought gallantly with the senior compotators to come out with flying colours. The team of winner students along with their mentor was Congratulated by Hon’ble Dr. Y. A. Kawade (President, G. S. Mandal), Hon’ble Prof. Munish Sharma (Director General, MIT group of Institutions). On this occasion Principal, Prof. S. G. Deshmukh & Prof. R. D. Deshpande (HOD) also congratulated the students on this commendable achievement.

One-day Training workshop on Switchgear and Protection was organized by Department of Electrical Engineering of MIT Polytechnic at Regional Training Centre, MSEDCL, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on 18/11/2024 under the guidance of HOD Prof. V. P. Thakre. In all 35 students of final year were benefitted by this workshop. Mr.V K Pensalwar (Add. Ex Engg), Mr. Hayat Khan (DYE), Mr. D. B. Hatkangane & Mr. K. S. Dandge (Principal Optr.) was the experts who guided the students through teaching sessions on Switchgear and Protection. Students were also given practical performance experience, which enhanced their knowledge. Prof. S .S. Chauhan accompanied by Prof. B. R. Jadhav organized this workshop.

The Electrical Engineering Department at MIT Polytechnic, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, recently organized a hands-on workshop titled "Industrial AC Machines: Practical Panel Building Workshop" for third-year Electrical (EE5I) students under the guidance of HOD Prof. V.P. Thakre. This three-day workshop, held from October 23 to 25, 2024, provided participants with an opportunity to gain practical experience in panel building and deepen their understanding of Industrial AC Machines. The Resource Persons for this workshop were Mr. Milind Bhagwat, Director of Epower Marketing, Udyog Mitra, Chitegaon, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Prof. S. N. Pawar from the Electrical Engineering Department at MIT. Mr. Bhagwat shared his industry insights on panel-building concepts, applications of Industrial AC Machines. Prof. S.N. Pawar supervised the assembly of the panels.

Health Check-up Camp was conducted on the 15th, 16th & 17th October, 2024 at MIT Polytechnic, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar under the NSS Cell. The major goals of the Health Check-Up camp were early detection and screening of disease, and taking the necessary steps to treat these issues. The day started with the Inaugural session of the camp was attended by Principal of MIT Polytechnic Prof. S. G. Deshmukh, Dr. Pooja Kathore, Dr. Meera Jadhav, Mr. Abhay Lahane, Coordinator of camp & NSS Cell coordinator Prof. Jai Singh, & Administrators of MIT Hospital Mr. Santosh Dhkane & Mr. Sachin Mokashi, HOD’S of all department& faculty members. Principal of MIT Polytechnic Prof. S. G. Deshmukh explained how general health Check-up camp is helpful to all as it provides free medical health check and referral for specialized treatment. He appreciated the Hospital for conducting such free camp. Dr. Abhay Lahane was encouraged the students for the significance of Annual Screening. The checkup included a blood pressure test, height weight checkup, random blood test and general health checkup. Prof. Jai Singh, Camp coordinator & NSS cell coordinator thanked MIT Hospital for conducting Camp. About 896 students & 50 staff members were benefited from the same.

MIT Polytechnic Institute celebrated the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi & Lal Bahadur Shastri birth anniversary on 2nd October, 2024 with great reverence. The celebration commenced with floral tribute paid to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi & Lal Bahadur Shastri by the Chief Guest Prof. A. S. Nagrik, Prof. R. V. Deshmukh Incharge Principal of MIT Polytechnic, HOD’s of all departments & all presented, reflecting their deep respect and admiration for their contribution to the nation. On this occasion organized a talk on “Contribution of Mahatma Gandhi & Lal Bahadur Shastri toward our nation” which has efficiently delivered by respected Chairperson Prof. A. S. Nagrik. Later on Incharge principal Prof. R. V. Deshmukh, highlighted various aspects of both legendary’s life to the audience. MIT polytechnic, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar organised Students Induction Program for the newly admitted FY and DSY students for A.Y. 2024-25 on 24th September, 2024 in MIT Auditorium hall no-202. This program was conducted as per the guidelines of All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) ,New Delhi , it was necessary to conduct Induction program For the students who were admitted in the academic year 2024-25. The objectives of Student Induction program for the newly admitted students is as below—
1) To cope with the new academic environment. 2) To increase interest of the students in polytechnic education. 3) To develop healthy relations between the students admitted from of rural and urban areas . 4) To create opportunity for effective communication between the faculty members and students.

A “LPG –Use and Safety Awareness” session along with demonstration was organized by MIT Polytechnic on 17th August, 2024 for faculty and staff members of the institute by NSS Coordinator.Mr. Vivek Sable, employee of ‘Gassafe India Limited’, Pune, an ISO 9001 certified company delivered the session and stressed on safe use of LPG in our homes. He demonstrated the procedure of safe use of LPG. Head of Departments, faculty and staff members attended this session.

Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by the Government of India 2024, started to strengthen the feeling of patriotism in the people & promote awareness about the Indian National flag. This year Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was celebrated from 13th to 15th August 2024. The NSS unit of MIT Polytechnic took part in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign 2024. The pledge on tricolor was taken on 14th August, 2024 which was led by NSS coordinator Prof. Jai Singh With a great fervor and enthusiasm. Pledge was taken in all departments. HOD’s, faculties & all students actively participated. A rally on Har Ghar Tiranga was held for students on same day to celebrate the spirit of independence and unity, participants carrying the flag of the nation. Coming together to promote patriotism, unity, national identity and to hoist it to mark the 76th year of India’s independence.

MIT institute in collaboration with the NSS unit was organized a tree planting event to mark birthday of President of Gramaudyogik Shikshan Mandal respected Dr. Y. A. Kawade on 8th August, 2024 aimed to emphasizing the crucial importance of green future & to inspire proactive steps toward combating climate change, preserving natural ecosystems. The program took place at back side lawn of institute. Dr. Y.A Kawade, President, Nilesh Patil, Director, Prof. S. G. Deshmukh, Principal- MIT polytechnic, faculties & students gather to plant saplings in designated area, fostering a sense of responsibility for nurturing the environment. Prof. Jai Singh, NSS coordinator & NSS team has taken efforts for making this event successful. The event demonstrated that collective action can create lasting positive changes for future generations and for the planet.

On the occasion of birthday of President of Gramaudyogik Shikshan Mandal’s Hon. Dr. Y. A. Kawade, MIT institute was organized ‘Blood donation camp’ in collaboration with Lions Club Center, Chh. Sambhaji Nagar. The objective of this camp is to encourage, recognizing and abiding with social welfare responsibilities. The inaugural ceremony was done by blissful hands of Dr. Y. A. Kawade, President, Dr. Nilesh Patil, Director, Prof. S. G. Deshmukh, Principal-MIT Polytechnic & NSS coordinator Prof. Jai Singh. Many students, faculties & non- teaching staff come forward to donate blood and conveyed their birthday wishes to President Dr. Y.A. Kawade. The whole event was carried out under the supervision of medical and nursing staff by taking care of all medical procedures and testing. This Blood donation camp successfully organized under the banner of NSS unit.

Students of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Department have participated in the GenAi Hackathon technical event which was organised by MIT B.Tech. College of engineering, Chh. Sambhaginagar on 27th July, 2024 at B.Tech Building Gate No.5. Polytechnic students of AIML branch Ved Bhoskar, Jayesh Kathale of 3rd year were participated and were provided the problem statement: Compressive reading Test & training and the students developed the App Name: Readwise. Our Students won First prize for this app under the guidance of Prof. S. D. Joshi

The Annual Social Gathering - "KALAVIHANGAM" 2K24 was held at MIT Polytechnic, Aurangabad, on March 1st and 2nd, with outstanding results. The main goal of this event's planning is to separate students' general extracurricular development from their coursework. Personality development requires the development of intercultural, athletic, and interpersonal skills. Students require a platform where they may explore and present their skills in order to achieve this. Our institute offers this platform to meet each of these needs.
A number of committees, including both teaching and non-teaching staff members, were formed to ensure the smooth running of ‘Kalavihangam 2K24’ under the direction of Principal Prof. S.G. Deshmukh. As convener of ‘Kalavihangam 2K24’, Prof. Jai Singh oversaw the Student Council during the Academic Year 2023–2024. The other members of the organizing committee were Dr. N. H. Mahaske, Prof. V. R. Borsarkar, and Prof. S. D. Joshi.
Many committees, including the Cultural Committee, Discipline and Security, Stage Decoration and Seating Arrangement, Drinking Water Management, Power Supply Monitoring, Printing and Publicity Committee, Finance Committee, Scrutiny Committee, Account and Finance Committee, Fire Safety Committee, Inauguration, Valedictory, Prize distribution, Photography, Video shooting, and CC TV were established in order to ensure the events ran smoothly and effectively.
Entries for participation in a variety of activities were requested; those that received a high volume of responses were scrutinized by the committee and included in the final list for that event. At the inaugural event, Mr. Arvind Jagtap, In-Charge Director of Sports at B.A.M.U. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, was the honoured guest.

A State Level Technical event “Brainwaves – 2K24” was organized at MIT Polytechnic Chh. Sambhjainagar on 24th February, 2024. The inaugural program had arranged in Hall No. 211. Students of MIT and other college students were present. Prof. A. S. Nagrik and Prof. R.V. Deshmukh guided the students about the event and wished all the best to all participants. All HOD’s and departmental co-ordinators were present for the program.
Artificial intelligence and machine learning department had organised ‘Treasure Hunt’ in ‘Brainwaves 2K24’. The program was organised by Prof. S. A. Shendre and all faculty members assist him for the success of event. of AIML from CSMSS college of polytechnic got first prize of cash Rs. 2101/- . MIT college of polytechnic Computer Dept. Students got second prize of cash 1501/-. MIT polytechnic college AIML Dept. Students got third prize of cash 1001/- . Civil Engineering department had organised a Quiz Competition under the “BRAINWAVES – 2K24”. Students from various colleges participated in this event to display their knowledge in technical field. Along with that, the students could also show their knowledge about the recent field topics apart from their syllabus. Topic for Poster Presentation competition are AI In Civil Engineering, Intelligent transportation system, Construction Safety Issues, Solid Waste Management and Emerging Trends in Civil Engineering. Each group should have maximum two members, Size of Poster must be A2 (Half Empirical). Judgement criteria for Poster Presentation competition are Poster must be Relevance to theme, Creativity, Originality, Artistic Composition and presentation.
In all, 45 students participated in the event from various colleges. Their participation highlighted the enthusiasm that they had towards this competition. The judge for this event was Dr. Syed Suhel Ahmed Syed Iqbal Hashmi, Civil Engineering Department Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Chh. Sambhjainagar and Prof. P. P. Pranjale, Architecture Department, Marathwada Institute of Technology, Chh. Sambhjainagar.
While concluding the program, the outside participants appreciated the efforts of volunteers and staff members for organising this event in a well-planned manner. Winners got the certificates and Cash Prize by the hands of Chief Guest Prof. R. V. Deshmukh.

MSBTE Sponsored ‘State Level Technical Quiz Competition’ organized by Electronics and Computer Engineering Department, 23rd February 2024. The Chief Guest for the Inaugural function was Dr. A. M. Agarkar, Principal of Government Polytechnic, Ambad. The Juries for this event were Dr. S. B. Dhoot (Electronics & Telecommunication Department) from Government Polytechnic, Chh. Sambhajinagar and Dr. A. M. Rawate (Electronics & Computer Engineering Department) from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Chh. Sambhajinagar. Total 20 teams were registered for this event from different institutes of Nagpur and 16 teams from Chh. Sambhajinagar region were reported.
Govt. Polytechnic, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar wins first prize of Rs. 15,000\-, CSMSS Polytechnic, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar wins second prize of Rs. 10,000\- and Guru Gobind Singh Polytechnic, Nasik got Consolation prize of Rs. 5,000\- in this event.

State Level Technical Paper Presentation Competition is organised by Mechanical Engineering Department at MIT Polytechnic, Chh. Sambhajinagar on 5th February 2024. Topics of the Paper Presentation were Industry 4.0, Innovation in Mechanical Engineering, Advance Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing and Modern Trends in Automobile. The event was aimed at bringing together budding researchers academicians and industry experts to exchange the latest technological information in their field of interest. About 21 students from all over the state participated in the program and presented papers on the tiopic of their intrest in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Mr. P.S. Solanki, Assistant Secretary of RBTE inaugurated the program in the presence of Prof. S.G. Deshmukh, Principal of MIT polytechnic and Prof. R. V. Deshmukh, HOD Mechanical Department. Prof. S. G. Deshmukh stressed on the importance of research. It provides great opportunities for the students to develop their communication and presentation skills which are crucial for one’s success in the industry.

On 19th January 2024 on account of National Start-up Day, a program was organised by the Institute Innovation Council (IIC) of our Institute. Mr. Samuel Patole, Founder of Infinity Tech Resources and Founder Director of Fikkar, IIC Industry expert & Mr. Rahul Patle, Founder and leader of Techrover, R&D Engg. at Rucha Yantra LLP (Designed 70+ Drones & UAV , recognized by DRDO ) were the Chief Guests for this function. Banner of IIC for the Institute was published by Respected Principal, Prof. S. G. Deshmukh on this occasion. Respected Principal Prof. S. G. Deshmukh Sir published the IIC Banner for our institute on this occasion. The Preamble of the event was presented by Prof. V.P. Thakre, President of IIC MIT(P), at the start of the program. The final year students were also guided by our esteemed Principal, Prof. S. G. Deshmukh on this particular occasion.
Principal, Prof. S. G. Deshmukh guided final year students about activities under IIC. Mr. Samuel Patole shared his offered his extensive experience on start ups , while Mr. Rahul Patle guided students about Drone manufacturing in this function. This event was attended by all HODs, Department Faculty Coordinators of IIC, and Final Year Students from all branches.

National Youth Day is observed nationwide in India on January 12th, the 160th anniversary of the birth of influential thinker and spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda.
The Institute Innovation Cell at Ramkrishna Mission Ashram, Chh. Sambhajinagar, had organized a program to commemorate this National Youth Day. Swami Vishnupadanandaji, the head of the Ramkrishna Mission Ashram, Chh. Sambhajinagar led and inspired our second-year students of MIT Polytechnic throughout this program.

The three day face to face introductory Faculty Development Program (FDP) on ‘Universal Human Values’ (UHV) by NCCIP & AICTE jointly organized by Mechanical engineering department, MIT polytechnic Chh. Sambhajinagar, from February 11th to February 13th 2024. The event commenced with an invocation followed by a warm welcome by Prof. V.N Dudhate. Prof. V.M. Chidri, Prof. Bhagyashree Jadhav and Principal, Principal S. G. Deshmukh were the distinguished guest of honour. Principal S. G. Deshmukh felicitated Chief Guest and key note speaker Prof. V. M. Chidri, Prof Bhagyashree Jadhav & Prof. Yogita Jadhav. Prof .S.G. Deshmukh highlighted valuable insights and perspective of universal Human values.

A Free Medical Check Up Camp for students were organised on 28th October 2023 under Jagruk Palak Sudhruddh Balak Abhiyan of Public Health Department of Maharashtra State. Health Camp can be considered as a life program that aim to provide free medical service .and spread awareness about health and maintaining a healthy life. The program started at 11:00 am with the introductory speech given by Principal Prof. S. G. Deshmukh and the Doctors team of respective department. The team of 6 Doctors, 12 paramedical staff of civil hospital of Chh. Sambhajinagar were visited the Institute. 7 volunteers of NSS wing dedicated their services in organizing camp. This camp was held in Hall No. F7 with the presence of Principal Prof. S. G. Deshmukh Prof.A.M.Shinde- Officer In charge- Academics, all Heads of the Department and all visited team of Doctors.

Mechanical Engineering department conducted three days FDP on “Training on National Board Accreditation”. A faculty development program was organised from 6th to 8th 0ctober 2023 at MIT Polytechnic, Chh. Sambhajinagar. This was a three days faculty development programme where various related subject were discussed in details by eminent educationist and a very beneficial academy environment was experience by the participants. The FDP was started on 8th October, 2023 with Saraswati Pujan.
On this occasion Prof. S. G. Deshmukh, Principal, Speaker Prof. M.B. Sanap and all HOD were present. The Speaker was welcome by the Principal. The first day session was conducted by Prof. M.B. Sanap, Lecturer Government Polytechnic, Ambad. The topic was C0-PO Mapping. The first day workshop was very beneficial and provided on insights on the various challenges associated which educator has to overcome. Next day training session was conducted by Dr. Smita Kasar – Head Computer Science Department MIT Chh. Sambhajinagar. There were exchanges of ideas on the issue concerning the teaching learning process. It was also discuss the requirements of the educational scenario and how research activities can be carried out by the teachers in limited time. The third day of workshop were addressed by Prof. N. G. Deshingkar- Head Civil Engineering Department MIT Polytechnic, Chh. Sambhajinagar. This session was very beneficial for the participants for actual work performance. There were discussion on skills which required were elaborated by the Speaker. This three days FDP workshop ends with the hands on training followed by Prof. S. B. Maknikar- Central NBA Coordinator.

To promote the ideals of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan among the all, MIT Polytechnic, Chh. Sambjajinagar launched Swachhta Abhiyan on birth anniversary of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi on 30th September 2023. The program inaugurated by event coordinator Prof. Jai Singh with introductory speech of Prof. A. S. Patil. He gave necessary instructions to students and valued importance of cleanliness in our life. All Heads of the department, Faculty members, NSS wing of institute, volunteers actively participated in this massive drive . The focus was on fostering a sense of responsibility toward keeping the environment clean and healthy. The discussion emphasized how small actions when multiplied, could lead to significant positive change in the environment. The students and all started the activity within the campus. Around at 3:00 to end of the day armed with gloves and trash bags, they meticulously collected plastic scattered around the premises. During the event our dedicated efforts led to the collection of approximately 10 -12 bags of garbage. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about detrimental effects. These conversations enlightened the students about the adverse consequences of improper disposal and reinforced the need to use dustbin for responsible waste management.

Student Induction Program which was held from 21st August 2023 to 22nd August 2023 as per the guidelines of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICT) for the students who are from first year and direct second year students (DSY). The Sessions were divided into two days.
On the first day, that is 21st August Inaugural Ceremony took place who’s plenary speaker was our respected Principal S.G. Deshmukh. He gave the history of the institute following with the detailed information regarding all the rules and regulations of the Institute and motivated the students to be a perfect student. He then felicitated the toppers in MSBTE SUMMER-2022 Examination Handing over the stage to Prof. A.S. Nagrik (HOD- CO) who then followed delivering a lecture on the courses available in MIT Polytechnic Institute along with the facilities which are provided for the students by the institute in regards of their curriculum.
After the lunch break Prof. S.B. Maknikar gave a lecture on ‘Significance in Outcome Based Education’ and Carrier Opportunities in Industries. He gave examples of various companies. After him Mrs. Mercy Ruth who gave a lecture on Importance of Cleanliness, health, hygiene and safety and gender equality where she explained the basic moral values, rules and precautions for the students. The day one session ended with Mr. Sachin Rajput who gave a lecture on “Awareness of ERP System Software”. He explained how important it is for each and every student and how to maintain it.
On the second day, the session started with student’s interaction with the Alumni’s of the Institute where they shared their campus experience and how they have accomplished to their goals. Dr. Uttam Kalwane delivered a lecture on ‘Yoga, Meditation and Importance of Tree Plantation’ which is a fundamental duty of each citizen. Dr. Kirti Sangole delivered a lecture on Communication Skills and its necessity in our day to day life.

8th August is Birthday of Honorable Dr. Y. A. Kawade, President, Gramaudyogik Shikshan Mandal, Chh. Sambhajinagar. On this great occasion MIT Polytechnic, Chh. Sambhajinagar and Lions Blood Centre jointly organizes ‘Blood Donation Camp’ on 8th August 2023 (Tuesday). The objective of this camp is to encourage the staff members & students to recognize and abide with social welfare responsibilities. It also provides a platform of social engagement to all of us. DR. N. G. Patil- Additional Director MIT Chh. Sambhajinagar was chief guest for this program.
“Lions Club” was invited to watch over the entire process and to collect the blood. A team of five Doctors were put in charge also. All the Head of the department, large number of faculty members, Student Council members and many students participated in the camp.
