Industrial Training

These provide opportunity for the students to get on the ground feel about industry and understand the systems and procedures involved in running an organization.

In order to have better understanding of management, a number of industry visits are organized for students in consultation with the concerned faculty.

Students identify the companies as per the course need of the concerned faculty.
Students submit the report and make presentations.

Students are also encouraged to help faculty members for MDPs, Seminars and conferences.

The industry visits provide the special exposure to the students about the various intricacies of the Industry/corporate world.



Industrial Visit: At Adarsh Gram - Patoda for Solid Waste Management on 9thMarch 2024

A visit was arranged to “Aadarsh Gaon Patoda Gram Panchayat, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar” on the date 09/03/ for 13 Students of CE6I related to Solid Waste Management. From these visit students visited Gram Panchayat Office regarding solid waste management of Village and Agricultural Waste Management also get the different ideas about civil engineering and town planning details of well planned village along with proper Drainage and toilet facilities for proper sanitization of the village. In addition, students visited the Bakery to study the Industrial Waste Management System. Faculty Coordinators Prof. T. R. Tirukhe, Prof. S. M. Jambhaikar and Prof. K. K. Shinde with Mrs. Deepali Pere from Patoda Gram Panchayat were present during the visit.



An Industrial Visit Organized by Computer Engineering Department at "Yeshshree Press Comps Pvt.Ltd. on 24th February 2024

Department of Computer Engineering had arranged an Industrial Visit at “Yeshshree Press Comps Pvt Ltd, and Tragen Technology Pvt Ltd, D-9. MIDC,Waluj ,Chh. Sambhajinagar”, under the guidance of H.O.D. Prof. A.S. Nagrik for all Year Computer Engineering students on 24th Feb. 2024.
43 Students had visited the Industry on that day. Faculty Co-ordinators were Prof. Thakare V.L. and Prof. Prof. Divekar Y.D.

Department of Computer Engineering had arranged an Industrial Visit at “MSME Technology Center , INDO-GERMAN Tool Room, Extension Center , Waluj , Chh. Sambhajinagar”under the guidance of H.O.D. Prof. A.S. Nagrik for all Third Year Computer Engineering students on 9th January 2024.
40 Students had visited the Industry on that day. Faculty Co-ordinators were Prof. Jadhav S.S. and Prof. Prof. Divekar Y.D.



Industrial Visit Organized by Civil Engineering Department at Water Treatment Plant, Pharola, Aurangabad on 7thDecember 2022

Industrial Visit was organized on 07th December 2022, for the Third year Civil Engineering students. Students visited the Water Treatment Plant, Pharola, Aurangabad. Water comes to this plant from Jayakwadi dam for purification, and then it is supplied to Aurangabad city. Currently plant purifies 156 MLD of water. Students got the knowledge of various processes such as Screening, Pre-chlorination, Bleaching Process, Coagulation, Flocculation Sedimentation (Clariflocculator), Filtration (Rapid Sand Filter), Post-Chlorination, Hydraulic Pumps & Various components, units & its parts etc.




Industrial Visit organized by Computer Engineering Department at “Naskraft IT Solutions PVT. LTD.” on 3rdDecember 2022

Department of Computer Engineering had arranged an Industrial Visit at “Naskraft IT Solutions PVT. LTD.” on the theme “Industry 4.0 – skills development“under the guidance of H.O.D. Prof. A.S. Nagrik for all the students on 3rd Dec. 2022. Students from CO Dept. had visited the Industry on that day. The students had visited and took the opportunity to experience the workflow of real industry and how it’s to be done on the stipulated time and also got to know many industrial things that will be beneficial for them once they will pass out from Institute and join the Corporates. Under the guidance of Prof. S. G. Deshmukh sir, The Principal of MIT(Polytechnic), Aurangabad, Prof. Y. D. Divekar and Prof. Sana Patel had arranged this visit with association of Naskraft for students.




Industrial Visit organized by Civil Dept. at Solar Power Plant on 11thApril 2022

Civil Engineering Department had arranged a visit regarding Solar Power Plant to MIT Nursing Terrace, MIT Campus, Aurangabad accompanied by Mrs. V. R. Borsarkar. The visit was conducted on 11th April 2022. 20 students of CE4I were present for the same. The accompanied faculty explained the importance of solar power plant, its working and its various uses. She put best of her efforts for student’s knowledge.

Industrial visit to Chatrapati Sambhaji Raje Sakhar Udyog Ltd on 4th September 2019

On 4th September 2019 Department of Mechanical Engineering organized Industrial visit for the Second year and Third year students (ME3I and ME5I) at “Chatrapati Sambhaji Raje Sakhar Udyog Ltd.” Chittepimpalgaon, Aurangabad. In this visit students got the knowledge of production of sugar and plant layout as well as boiler details which are useful in thermal engineering subject for them . Total 84 students and Faculty members Mr.Jai Sing, Mr.D.B.Baviskar and Mr.Md.Shakeeb were present for the visit.




Industrial visit to “132KV SUBSTATION” on 26 th August 2019

Department of Electrical Engineering had organized an Industrial Visit on Switch gear and protection to MSETCL 132KV substation,Satara parisar Aurangabad for the students of Third year (EE5I) on 26th August 2019. The guide for the visit guided about the substation in details. He given the brief knowledge of circuit breakers, busbars, transformer ,lightening arrestors etc in details. He have also explained the control room. Students gained brief knowledge of related subject and the visit was very much beneficial.



Study visit to “DEOGIRI NAGRI SAHAKARI BANK LTD.” on 3 rd August 2019

Department of Electrical Engineering had organized an Visit on Entrepreneurship Development To Deogiri Nagri Sahkari Bank Ltd.Aurangabad for the students of Third year (EE5I) on 3 august 2018. The guide for the visit is Mr.V.V.Kulkarni.Deputy Chief Officer, DNSB Bank In that he guided about the various funding scheme for small Scale Enterprise Student are very much benefited by the visit.




Field visit for excavation, substructure, MIT college site, Beed bypass road, Aurangabad on 9th July 2018

A visit was arranged to MIT Food Technology college site, Beed by pass road, Aurangabad on 09-July-2018 for CE 3I students related to subject Building Construction. In this visit Prof. A.S.Jaiswal explained excavation, substructure, hard strata, types of footing, shallow foundation, filling of concrete in footing& its formwork, foundation trenches, excavation of trenches etc.

Industrial visit to “Hydro Electric Power Station” on 4th Septempber 2018.

Department of Electrical Engineering had organized an Industrial Visit on Electrical power generation to Hydroelectric power station Paithan, Aurangabad for the students of second year (EE3I) on 4th September 2018. The guide for the visit was Mrs. Madhuri. she guided the students about the power plant and given the details of power plant and also told the history when it was started and how electricity is generated through the plant. Student were very much benefited by the visit.

The Industrial Visit was organized On 14th September 2018, for the Third year Civil Engineering students. Students visited the Water Treatment Plant, Pharola, Aurangabad. Industrial visit to Jayakwadi dam, Paithan, Aurangabad on 18th September 2018

On 18th September 2018 , Third year Civil Engineering visited the dam site at Paithan, Aurangabad. Water of this dam is supplied to Aurangabad district after proper treatment at Pharola. This is one of the largest earthen dams in Asia having total capacity of 2909 million cubic meters, length 9998 meters and approximate height 41.30 meters. Students got the knowledge of various components of dam, its construction, operation and working of spillways.



Workshop on “Transformer & Cable Testing” organized on 1st & 2nd Septempber 2018

Two days’ workshop on “Transformer & cable testing” was organized in Electrical Department on 1st & 2nd September 2018. As the electricity has become the need, the workshop introduced functioning of Solar plants, practical knowledge of testing the cables and transformers & self-protection etc. The authorities of MSEB guided students on the occasion. Prof. P.G. Kate (HOD Electrical Dept. ) gave preamble for the workshop. Chief Guest, Madhukar Muljkar, Executive Engineer, Maharashtra State Transmission Company (400 KV Waluj Aurangabad) informed about the new technique in the power division. Prof. S.G. Deshmukh (Principal, MIT Polytechnic) guided the students on the occasion and Prof. Y.A.Kawade (President, MIT) guided about Present condition of Electric Field and how to overcome the demand of Electricity in future.

Total 60 students from Jalna, Ambad, Mehkar and 10 other colleges were registered from Marathwada and outside departments from government and non-governmental Polytechnics, participated in the workshop. On the concluding ceremony of the workshop, Mr.Vijayandre Mangalge,(Managing Director Ajanta Industries Pvt. Ltd. & Linear Enterprises MIDC Shindra Aurangabad.),Principal S.G. Deshmukh ,Department Head Prof. P. G. Kate, were present. Prof S.N. Pawar, Mr. Shantaram Kondke (Ravitech Electricals Pune.) distributed Certificate to the participants. Prof. Balaji Jadhav, Prof. N. B. Chate, Prof. Kalyani Nisal, Prof. Dinesh Darp, Prof. Pranita Mane ,Prof. Monika Payoghan, Mr.Chandrakant Sathe and student representatives Julie Supekar, Sapna Chavan took efforts for the success of the program.





Industrial visit arranged at Dhanajay Enterprises on the date 5th October 2018

Department of Computer Engineering had organized an industry visit at Dhananjay Enterprises Waluj, Aurangabad for the students of Third year (CM5G) on the date 5th October 2018.

Dhananjay Group strives for continual improvement in manufacturing processes with emphasis on consistent quality and cost effectiveness. It has total 8 manufacturing units 6 in Aurangabad and 3 in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The organization has its corporate office in Aurangabad. All plants are connected to each other by Wireless network and run SAP Business one in all plants.

The IT department of Dhananjay Group gave information about their servers and wireless networking, server management, and automation software and wireless connectivity with RF Device.
